WELCOME TO OUR NEWEST CAST MEMBER!!! Our 11th Grandchild, Henry (Hank) Rowe MacDonald was born July 30th!
This really is a family affair as the Carleton Place Cinema is now proudly owned by the local husband and wife team of Ernie and Brenda (we know- it would be funnier if she was named Bert!) and managed by their daughter, Sarah.
Our goal is to provide a quality entertainment experience for everyone, including families! If there is anything you'd like to suggest that we can do to make your local movie-going experience better, please let us know. We'd love to get your feedback.

When I came to Carleton Place 12 years ago, I went to the Carleton Place Cinemas for the first time. I fell in love with the theater. When I heard that the theater was for sale, I jumped at the chance to own it. I would like to make the theater a place that parents can have fun with their children at the movie. Our motto is "A Family Affair", and we hope to continue the same good times as you have had in the past. We have developed a new and exciting website that will be monitored and updated daily, to keep you abreast of what is playing and what will be coming soon. We will be making changes over a period of time in the appearance of the inside, a new concession area, and the addition of a Dolby 5.1 surround sound system, as I believe we should have the best experience possible.

I'm really thrilled that we're now the owners of the Carleton Place Cinemas. We really love our town and being a part of the local community- eventually we'll see just about everyone in town through our doors and we can't wait to say "Hi!". I'm a local Real Estate Broker, with Partners Advantage GMAC so unfortunately I won't be behind the counter so much as "behind the scenes". But I know you're in good hands with Ernie, Sarah and the rest of the staff!

I can't tell you how excited I am to be a part of the Carleton Place Cinemas; it combines 2 things I love- Carleton Place & movies! I'm hooked on all things Hollywood and I absolutely love escaping to a darkened theatre watching a great film with yummy movie-popcorn (it's just not the same at home!). As a stay-at-home Mom of a 2 year old & 4 year old, I'll be happy to make "grown-up" talk on evenings & weekends at the Cinema. See you there!
